| I was cleaning out my desk drawer last week and came across a photo disc from sears. I popped it in the old computer and it pulled up some nearly five year old pictures. This is baby Hank isn't he sweet? Hard to believe he'll be in kindergarten in August - boy how time flies! So I thought I'd post a pic of him for all my Xanga friends. | | |
| I know its been a while, but things are crazy around here. Since my last update, I turned one year older, thank God I'm not deeper in dept. I seem to be digging my way out! I hope things are well for everyone in XangaLand. I would say things here are OK here. Leave comments or I will be forced to leave this land forever. Carmen | | |
| What a couple of days! My older daughter, Lori, came in with her fiance, he is a nice boy - I like him. It was really great to visit with her for a couple of days. It is really nice to see your children growing up. We went to the in-laws yesterday to celebrate Christmas, right after we opened presents here at home. My younger daughter and older son had to go to the 'other' parents yesterday so we did all of Christmas yesterday. Now it is just me, hubby and Hanky at home. All seems quiet and still compared to the last couple of days. As soon as I get some pics, I'll up load them and show off my babies. I hope everyone had a wonderful day! Carmen | | |
| Christmas is really exciting when you have a four year old in the house! It is always fun, but when the kids are at the age that they are anticipating it, it just make it so much more fun. MaeLee has been out of that stage for a few years now and Hank is just old enough to keep asking how many more days? how many more days? So we made him one of those paper chain count down things, and every night he is counting down and tearing off and counting down. It is so fun! I'll post some Christmas pics soon. Hopefully since I'm out of school I'll have time to up date and visit everyone. Peace and Joy and Merry Christmas! | | |
| Yeah, I went too! It was fun. Hank and I did some Levee Sleding - don't know what that is? Well, it went like this: Hank and I were sitting on the back side of the levee of the Mississippi River listening to Robert Lockwood, Jr do his 'thang' and these little boys start sliding down the levee on some torn up cardboard boxes. So Hanky and I went dumpster diving to get our own cardboard. Once we had our boards we zipped down the levee a couple of times, with me demonstrating - it was cool! Hank never did get the hang of it, but he was always willing to let me give him a shove and send him tumbling off his box and down the levee. Good-times! Well, after having the boss chew me out a couple of weeks ago, now she is telling me that I need to become a site visitor for IB and eventually be a presenter at workshops. She said I was one of her best speakers and it would be a great move professionally - go figure! That's it! Have a great couple of weeks until I get to post again. | | |
